花王株式会社は廃棄されるPET素材(廃PET) を原料としたアスファルト改質剤「ニュートラック 5000」を2020年12月に発売し、今回大型車両が多く高い耐久性が求められる駐車場の舗装として、ウエルシア薬局藤沢用田店の駐車場舗装工事に初めて採用されました。

We would like to inform you of our countermeasures and the impact for our operation by the spread of COVID-19 infection as follows. 

1. Countermeasures
Since 23 March, we apply following rules for all employees.
(1) Factory
1. If any employee or their family member living with them has a fever of 37.5 degrees
    or more, they are not allowed to work.
2. Temperature measurement of all employees and visitors every morning.
3. Wear a mask and provide disinfectant.
4. Ensure ventilation and social distance in the workplace and staff canteen.
5. Prohibition of the use of public transportation.

(2) Sales Representatives
1. Implementation of working from home.
2. Prohibition of the use of public transportation.
3. Refrain from visiting factory.
4. Refrain from visiting customers.

As of May 15, there are no cases of infection among employees or their families.

2. Impact for the factory operation
Although there were some delays of imported parts, there were no disruptions in
production and it is progressing smoothly. (as of May 15). However, sales activities are
slowing down partly due to restrictions on visits to our customers, and it is expected that production will have to be adjusted from June onwards, resulting in the temporary
furlough of the production division.
